2. Buyer and what we sell

The Buyer is a natural person (consumer) or a legal entity that places an order on the Website. We sell motor oils and related fluids for cars and motorcycles. We deliver to Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.

The 14-day right of withdrawal and other consumer protections in this Contract apply only to consumers (natural persons acting outside their trade or profession). They do not apply to legal-entity buyers, except the statutory rules on defective goods where those rules apply to businesses.

3. When the contract is formed

Adding goods to the cart is not a contract. The Contract is formed when the Buyer, having chosen the goods, delivery method and destination, ticks the box agreeing to these terms and confirms the order (Continue to payment). That step places the order with an obligation to pay, reserves stock, and creates the order. We then send a confirmation to the email address given at checkout.

We may change prices and these terms on the Website at any time. Changes do not affect orders already formed. The version in force is the one published on /terms when you confirm the order.

4. Prices, VAT and coupons

Prices on the Website are in euro and include Latvian VAT (currently 21%), unless stated otherwise. Shipping is not included in the product price. The exact shipping cost is shown before you confirm the order: Unisend locker shipping is quoted live at checkout; Omniva locker shipping is €6.04 including VAT; shop pick-up is free.

A coupon, if accepted, is applied to the product subtotal as shown at checkout and snapshotted on the order. One shipment is made per order. We do not split an order into several paid deliveries.

5. Payment

You may pay:

• by payment card through Stripe, on the payment page after the order is created. If the card payment is not completed, the unpaid order is cancelled and stock is released after 60 minutes;
• by bank transfer against a VAT invoice. Bank details are on the invoice, not in these terms. If the invoice is not paid, the order is cancelled and stock is released after 72 hours.

We start preparing delivery only after the order is paid (card payment confirmed, or bank transfer marked paid).

6. Delivery

You choose one of these methods at checkout:

• Unisend parcel locker in Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia — within 5 working days after payment;
• Omniva parcel locker in Latvia, Lithuania or Estonia — within 5 working days after payment;
• Pick-up at Bukultu iela 7a, Rīga, LV-1005 — from the next working day after payment.

If a longer time is not agreed, the goods will in any case be delivered within 30 days of the order, as required for distance contracts. If delivery is delayed for reasons we cannot reasonably avoid, we will contact you at the email or phone given with the order.

You must collect locker parcels within the carrier’s storage period. If you notice the wrong goods or damaged packaging on receipt, tell us at once at info@oil24.lv.

7. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from this Contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, by sending a clear statement to info@oil24.lv (you may use the model form in section 8). Until an on-site withdrawal button is available on the Website, email is the way to withdraw. If we did not give you the required withdrawal information, the period may be extended as provided by law (up to 12 months and 14 days).

You must send the goods back without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of telling us you withdraw. Return them, complete and in original packaging where possible, to Bukultu iela 7a, Rīga, LV-1005. You pay the cost of return, unless the goods are defective or we delivered the wrong item.

We refund using the same payment method, without undue delay and within 14 days of the withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or proof that you sent them. Withdrawal is settled by refund only; we do not exchange the goods for other products.

You may not withdraw (and we may refuse a return or deduct diminished value) if the bottle has been opened, the seal broken, the oil poured or used, or the goods mixed with other items, except where the goods are defective. Unopened, unused goods in original packaging may be returned under this section.

9. Defects and legal guarantee

We do not give a commercial warranty beyond the law. For consumers, the Seller is liable for lack of conformity that exists at delivery and appears within two years, under PTAL. In the first 12 months a lack of conformity is presumed to have existed at delivery unless we prove otherwise. This is separate from the 14-day withdrawal right.

10. Complaints and disputes

Send complaints about availability or quality by email to info@oil24.lv. We will reply within 15 working days of receipt, to the address you give in the complaint.

We will try to settle disputes by correspondence. Consumers may also use the out-of-court procedures described by the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC): https://www.ptac.gov.lv/lv/content/stridu-risinasanas-process and https://www.ptac.gov.lv/lv/content/arpustiesas-pateretaju-stridu-risinataju-datubaze. If no settlement is reached, disputes are heard by the courts of the Republic of Latvia, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to bring proceedings in the courts of the EEA country where they live.

11. Governing law

This Contract is governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia. If you are a consumer living in Lithuania or Estonia, you also keep the mandatory consumer protections of that country.
